About Me

I like to stare at things, thoughts, feelings, and dreams.  I like to honor them with my pen and paints. I like to challenge myself to be patient and imperfect.  I like to start giant projects, but need to get better about finishing them.

"I feel it now: there’s a power in me

to grasp and give shape to my world.

I know that nothing has ever been real
without my beholding it.
All becoming has needed me.
My looking ripens things
And they come toward me, to meet and be met."

From Rainer Maria Rilke’s “The Book of Hours: Love Poems to God”
