Corn Moon, September Moon, Farmer's Almanac

My mother grew up in Illinois, so trips to Grandma’s involved driving past miles and miles of cornfields. Most of the central Unites States is covered in corn, and there is a distinctly American beauty to these expanses. I considered and appreciated this as I painted the corn moon.

This print is the tenth in my moon manual project, I have committed to paint 62 full moons representing five different cultures.
