Peony Moon, April Moon, Chinese Collection

Peonies are so lovely, and I always look forward to their blooms. I live in a place now that is too cold to grow peonies, so I really enjoyed combing through pictures of these magical buds to prepare to paint this moon.

This print is the seventeenth in my moon manual project, I have committed to paint 62 full moons representing five different cultures.
